The Hospitality TEAM at Faith Fellowship is a vital link to a number of ways to serve the Body of believers. In addition to the serving it provides... it also plays an important role in how we treat new people who come through the doorway. Below are a number of the TEAMS available to people. Choose anyone of them to receive more information on how YOU can get involved.
Greeting TEAM
They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression! If that is true, we want to make sure that every person who walks through the front door of Faith Fellowship... are greeted with a warm reception! From the parking lot to the main doorway, our guests are welcomed with a smile and a handshake and then directed to one of the best experiences of their life! Welcome Center
As you come into the main area where church is held, you will notice our Welcome Center. Here you can find all kinds of different information about what’s happening at Faith Fellowship. Sign Up sheets, prayer cards, the latest information from the missionaries we support, and more... can be found at the Welcome Center. Volunteers are needed to staff the Welcome Center weekly. A smiling face and a welcoming personality are all that is required! A training class is provided for those wanting to help staff the Welcome Center. Refreshment Area
A good cup of coffee or a cold bottle of water... maybe even a donut or some cookies.... important ingredients to making a visit to Faith Fellowship comfortable! Those serving on our Refreshment TEAM make sure everything is set up and torn down weekly and that the refreshments are constantly stocked. This truly is an area that allows you to “SERVE”! The Usher TEAM
Perhaps one of the most important TEAMS we have is that of the Ushers. These people serve as the “eyes” of Faith Fellowship. They keep an eye on the flow of people coming into the main seating area. They assist people who are looking for a place to sit. They help people navigate the steps leading to the seating area. Ushers also watch for and then act when it’s time to “break out more chairs”. Ushers also play an important role when it comes to safety. In the unfortunate event that an “incident” would ever occur, the Ushers become the first line of defense and assist to bring calm to any situation. The Safety TEAM
Being in a public school setting as Faith Fellowship is... we have to not only respect the facility, but we have to make sure that safety is exercised at all times. The Safety TEAM monitors hallways, classrooms, gymnasiums and bathrooms. The Safety TEAM is responsible to make sure that children and everyone else... experience a quality time and avoid getting into problem situations while at Faith Fellowship. Set Up & Tear Down Crew
Every single week, a dedicated group of people set up the entire “sanctuary” setting for Faith Fellowship and then tear it all down and pack it in the trailer for another week. On the stage, all the equipment for our praise teams, the seating in the Auditeria, cleaning of the main room... are all a part of what the Set Up and Tear Down TEAM accomplishes weekly.
